BEGINNERS SERIES

SATURDAYS IN FEBRUARY 2025

During this workshop series we welcome anyone who is new to the practice, or looking to re-commit to their practice, as we dive into the fundamental components of the Ashtanga Tradition.

Each week includes asana (postures) practice, meditation and philosophy. Your tuition also includes an UNLIMITED class pass to the shala for February.

Join our teachers Ashley, and Kayla, and begin (or renew) your Ashtanga Yoga journey. Combined, Kayla and Ashley have nearly two decades of experience, and have been dedicated ashtanga practitioners for much of that time. They are passionate, intuitive, encouraging and enjoy working with practitioners of every experience level and background!

You don’t need any experience to begin this journey. All you need is an open heart and a desire to learn. Our teachers provide individualized teaching, allowing each student to attune to their own needs and goals.

FULL MOON YIN + MEDITATION

FRIDAY MARCH 14 6:30-7:30PM

The full moon is a magical astrological event. It magnifies psychic experiences and deepens our connection to the divine spark within us. In the Ashtanga practice, it is a day of physical rest, while we focus on more contemplative practices and other grounding exercises.

Yin Yoga practice and meditation are very complementary to Ashtanga asana practice, and pairing them with the Full Moon is considered advantageous to one's psychic abilities. Join us on the full moon as Kayla leads us through some gentle movement, deep stretches and peaceful meditation.

Yin Yoga is a style of practice that pairs gentle slow movements with long holds and deep breathing. It is calming and relaxing and suitable for everyone.

SATURDAY MYSORE PRACTICE

Join Ashley for traditional Ashtanga Mysore practice, outside of our normal class hours, for this special weekend offering. These pop up classes don’t come around too often, so if you’re one of our weekend warriors - don’t miss your chance this month!

Mysore Style is the traditional way Ashtanga yoga is taught, from teacher to student in a semi private lesson. Students progress at their own pace with guidance and assistance from the teacher. Anyone can start an Ashtanga practice, regardless if you have years of yoga experience or none at all. This practice will enable you to build strength and flexibility, while being accommodating and suited to everyone’s individual needs.

Doors open at 7:20am, please arrive by 8:00am

GUIDED PRIMARY SERIES

Join us for a guided primary series led by Ashley Jade. This class will follow the traditional Sanskrit count, and is a dynamic experience involving breath work and coordinated asanas. All students are encouraged to attend. Props and modifications are available.

Craving some fashion refresh? Sick of all those items you never wear? Bring any gently used yogi/boho clothes to our first clothing swap! Everything will be re-homed, or if items remain unclaimed they will go to a local charity. This is a free event but please RSVP.
