MYSORE CLASSES
Mysore Style is the traditional way Ashtanga yoga is taught, from teacher to student in a semi private lesson. Students progress at their own pace with guidance and assistance from the teacher. Anyone can start an Ashtanga practice, regardless if you have years of yoga experience or none at all. This practice will enable you to build strength and flexibility, while being accommodating and suited to everyone’s individual needs.
All students should plan for 60-90 minutes for focused practice and integrative rest, and can arrive anytime within the given hours.
Day one will involve discussing your goals and expectations as well as working through Sun Salutations, Foundational Standing postures, Backbending (depending on each student’s energy level and current practice), and closing postures/rest. No experience is required, everyone is welcome. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
